This past week I traveled to Saugerties, NY to meet my mom and sisters Kathy and Janet for our 7th annual Garlic Festival appearance. Our booth featured fleece hats, slippers, scarves, baby car seat covers and a few dog coats. Unfortunately, the weather was bad and attendance was down 60% the first day.
Although we’ve always at least covered the cost of the trip including a nice dinner, a few whiskey sours and some change to spare, this time it didn’t happen. But one thing that can be said about my family is we don’t let something like that affect our ability to have a good time. And this was no exception 🙂
After the show, I traveled to Watertown NY where I cleaned and polished and got our house ready to rent. It looks great and yesterday we received a signed lease- mission accomplished!
I am starting the PhotoShop class tomorrow night and hope things go better than they did with the Illustrator class 🙁 although that info is slowly sinking in.
Yesterday Hayward and I went to AC Moore and saw Tanya demo the pumpkin project sheet that I designed! How cool is that?
