I got such a nice comment on my blog regarding the Inspiration Team and a St. Patrick’s Day ATB I had created here. from Orla, a genuine Irish lassie. She says,
“What a talented group! I think my Sunday just got filled as I want to visit all the blogs. I should be making my St. Patrick’s Day cards!
Eileen – Hope to make it to Connecticut on the 27th – I’m from Ireland and now I want that Irish block – it’s so beautiful and tasteful – I refuse to engage in what I call the “paddywhackery” and always love finding lovely Irish “stuff” – safe travels.

And I heard we may have a very special visitor while we are there… An amazing artist! Here are some hints- she teaches at a store I just mentioned, she LOVES stencils and is another sweet Irish girl (if I am not mistaken)… Can you guess who it could be? More surprises ahead!

Omg Eileen – seriously – you are going to give it to me?- must be the luck of the Irish! I really want to get there – it’s a bit if a trek but I’d walk on fiery stones now to be there! See you on the 27th

Hooray for you Orla! I was worried you might not see this post… How far do you have to travel? Hope it is not too much of a hardship. I think those fiery stones might be though 🙂 Looking forward to meeting you and enjoy the day!

It’s about an hour and 20 minutes in good traffic – hopefully I can take off work and see you there – what fun!

Ooh that is a good drive Orla. Don’t worry if you can’t make it- I can always put it in the mail. See how things go. Either way- glad I got to meet you here 🙂

Eileen. I’m sure there’s a good old Irish saying like “The road is never long when it leads to a stamp store!” – well, maybe not quite….. But it’s true anyway
eileen says
I will have to embroider that saying 🙂 It is totally true Orla 🙂
