After an exciting few days in Lake Worth at Everything Scrapbooks and Stamps, Cheryl and I left to go down and visit my daughter Jessica and her family in Pembroke Pines.
It’s always good to see the little guys- they grow so fast and learn so much in between each visit. Daniel is 2 and is into puzzles (aka guggles) and will tell you I love you at the drop of a hat… except he has a cute contraction- “Ah lou”. I tried to get a good pic of him but that guy never stops running around!
Hunter is 7 months and has the best smile and chubby little legs you just want to squish…
One day all of us, including kids, went to Charming Charlie’s- I love how they arrange things according to colors!
My new friend Cassia’s husband Robert suggested that I try painting Scotty’s roof with rubber paint- they own an RV and have used it. Scotty has been leaking whenever it rains soI thought this would be a good idea. I went to the store and bought the supplies- one gallon of sealer, one gallon of liquid rubber, some disposable brushes and cleanser. When my SIL Jason got home from work, he offered to get up on the ladder and do it. What a good guy! It was so hot out especially up on the roof…
I went over to Lowe’s in search of some weatherstripping materials because Jason found some the gasket around the roof vent that was cracked and broken.
I couldn’t believe when I got to the aisle that M-D Hobby and Crafts, one of my Paper Trail sponsors supplying metal for the Bloom Box class,
was the brand I needed to also fix the camper! MD Building Supplies is another division of MD Hobby and Craft- how handy!
We had a great time but then it was time to pack up and move to the next event- the Art Walk at Art Mundo!
Stay tuned… a harrowing tale ahead on the Paper Trail 3!

Great idea to fix Scotty now, with hurricanes in the Pacific sending much need rain, in too heavy quantities, across the south west, having a newly sealed and protect roof is essential to safe, dry travels.

Harrowing? Oh dear, I think you have had enough already with Scotty springing another leak….. on a more positive note, your grandkids are gorgeous, I know what you mean about those cute chubby legs. Safe onward journey! Anne xx

It’s so handy to have a handy SIL. Hope the patching fixes the leaky roof.
