Paper Trail 4 was a quick and fun trip- it went by so fast! I was able to stop and teach in three stores and at the Collins Group Rep Show held in Westborough, MA. I also met up with fellow artist, travel teacher and vintage trailer owner, Cheryl Boglioli. We camped out a night in MA which was my first time doing that- I plan on doing more on future trips!
I hitched up Big Daddy and Scotty and we pulled out on Tuesday, April 7. Click <— to see short video of us leaving- my son wasn’t trying to get rid of me (was he?) I told him to yell GO when I should pull out…
It was a beautiful day for a drive- somewhat overcast, which is fine with me because there is no glare and bright sun on the road. I took my time, stopping only a few times for gas and lunch. Scotty did very well on the highway and it was such a relief knowing that all parts were in working order and if it rained, that we were watertight. The first stop of the trip was at the Craft & Hobby Association headquarters. I met with many of the people who I only see when we are rushing around at the trade shows twice a year. It was nice to have some time to chat, see people’s offices, and catch up.
Got a little lost even with the GPS but finally…
heading in…
Here’s Andrej, (sorry I can’t remember her name!), Keri Cunningham, Jason Baum and Cathy Martell.
Natalie Schwartz and Keli Bell-Cole hanging out in Scotty…
This is CHA’s Booth in a Bag- now that is genius!
Conference Room
On the wall is a huge map of where companies will be situated on the show floor. That are already working on CHA Winter 2016!
Tina Mercado is getting it done…
And then this…
It took me 25 minutes and a few scratches on Big Daddy (just broke the news to my husband yesterday – he remained calm) to get this thing out of there. I had to keep backing up, then going forward a little, etc. over and over- made me crazy! It probably would have been easier to back it out but once I had committed it was too late to try another plan.
Some day I will master this!
I was quite happy to head to Mom’s…
Vince made sauce and we had a nice meal together.
Later, my sister, niece and great niece also stopped by to catch up. Katrina made this doll- so cute!
Obviously, my sister Kathy is painfully shy 🙂
That’s all for now. My phone is not cooperating- I can’t add more photos to the blog so I will reset and try again. Stay tuned…

Just like Oxana, I wish I lived near enough to attend one of the classes too… Huge kudos to you for getting out of the car park in one piece! Your sister Kathy looks like such fun, her photo made me laugh out loud (in a good way!). Hugs, Anne xx
