Big Daddy needs some work… My husband was moving Scotty from the front yard to the back a couple of weeks ago and in the middle of the operation, the truck stopped going and just would not start up again. So we had him towed to my son-in-law’s garage, GT Peace Auto.
It was not good news. Repairs came to $2900! Fuel pump, spark plugs, crack in the exhaust plus some maintenance stuff- ack! BUT I am glad it went while my husband was in the driveway and not while I was driving it in the middle of nowhere with Scotty in tow…
I’m relieved that now both Big Daddy and Scotty have been overhauled and are pretty much ready for the next trip and… I have some exciting news to announce about my trip to Chicago in July but am waiting to tell until I know for sure that it is happening. Crossing my fingers!

Ouch!!! That repair cost was high! Great news for the dies availability, will they be available on the Sizzix UK site soon do you know? I keep looking 🙂 X

Ah, the fun benefits of ownership. lol It seems as if something can go wrong, it does. Glad to know everything is fixed and you should be good to go for your trips.

I feel your pain, Eileen. Just had my car serviced and repaired (have to spend July in Arizona helping my parents and sister) and it was $1752. Helloooooo, credit card. Sigh. Great news about the Vintage Dies availability. Glad your babies are fixed and ready to go. Chicago is in for a treat.
