Have you been inspired this month to make some card creations and send someone a little happy mail? The Inspiration Team has been cranking out the greeting cards to share with you. I am always amazed at how makers can use the exact same dies and have their projects be so wildly different. It just goes to show how versatile dies are as tools! Eileen has three new Sizzix Chapter 1 dies that just got released, the Mandala Thinlits Die, the Folio Page, Pocket & Flowers Thinlits Set, and the Folio Journal XL Die. The first two Thinlits sets are proving very popular with the teams for card making! Let’s take a look…
Elizabeth Robinson created a beautiful floral card using the two new Thinlits dies and some gorgeous colors of cardstock. Who wouldn’t love to get a cheerful card like this in the mail? You can find more info on Elizabeth’s blog so check that out.
For a completely different but equally beautiful look, Anna-Karin Evaldsson used the Mandala Die and the Folio Page, Pocket & Flowers Set as well but gave it an inky vintage vibe. See, versatility! 😉 The possibilities are endless. Find Anna-Karin’s tips and tricks in her blog post.
Mitsyana Wright’s card creation is full of 3-D flower magic. Look at those beautiful blooms backed by a Mandala Die cutout. Fabulous! Mitsyana has a complete tutorial on her blog so head on over and don’t miss it.
Keep going, more card creations to see…
I am loving how Jenny Marples cut the flowers from the Folio Page, Pocket & Flowers Die Set out of vellum. Popping off from the mixed media background, they still let you see a bit of it through the petals. Delightful! Don’t miss Jenny’s post with all the details.
Susie Bentz has really been busy and made some more cards to share with us. These Teacup cards are so cute! Check out her blog post for her CAS card tips!
