Hello there Eileen Hull fans and happy new year! Here we are in January and theme this month is all about cards. You may think that “3-D” dies are only good for three dimensional projects but they are also very useful for your “2-D” projects too. The Inspiration and Educator Teams are going to treat you to a whole lineup of greeting cards made using Eileen’s dies in novel ways. You won’t want to miss out on the inspiration and techniques they will be sharing! Let’s take a look at what the Inspiration Team has for us today…
Pam Bray has created a beautiful card using Eileen’s Tea Cup Die. What a great combination of textures, colors and dimensional elements! Wouldn’t it brighten a friend’s day to receive this card in the mail? You can find more details and instructions on Pam’s blog.
Designer Lisa Hoel made a set of thank you note cards with the Mitten Box Die. These are going to come in very handy for her Christmas thank yous she’ll be sending out soon! Lisa used a variety of techniques to decorate the cards and you can find the tutorials on her blog.
Karen Bearse put a twist on the theme and created a fabulous little Post Box to hold the art cards that she loves to make. It would also be a perfect container to hold a slew of handmade gift tag cards. Karen has a full tutorial about how this all goes together plus some construction tips. Check it out in her blog post!
Thanks for stopping by!
