Who wins? You, the maker! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Eileen Hull’s new Chapter 2 dies are so versatile and the perfect vehicle to take your creativity anywhere it wants to go! (Like camping maybe? Because in case you’ve missed all the new die hub bub…
The new Chapter 2 Dies from Eileen:
Front and center are Folio Journal accessory dies – the Waterfall & Tags and Book Binding Thinlits dies. But don’t limit their use only to journals – they work really well on cards and layouts too! And because you can cut as many as you would like, you can add these elements to larger and smaller journals as well.
In addition to the two Thinlits dies, there’s also the new Bigz L Camper 3-D ScoreBoards die just in time for summer travel! Cut two camper pieces and build it into a 3-D container (so much fun to decorate!) or use it on the front of the Folio Journal or card. As always, these dies are super versatile – just waiting for you to put your special touch on them and make them yours.
See what I did there? Vehicle, Camper Die… ha ha. Seriously though wait until you see what the Inspiration Team has to share with you this week!
Right off the bat we have a fabulous Folio journal from Elizabeth Robinson that also features the completely cute Camper on the front. I am loving those colors and the mixed media vibe! Elizabeth has prepared a YouTube tutorial video for you so head on over to her blog post for all the info.
Next up is Jenny Marples with her delightful accordion style album that has Camper Die covers! What a great idea for the format and those touches of rust are perfect. The insides are pretty perfect too so don’t miss all the photos and tutorial on Jenny’s blog.
Out of the box ideas ahead…
Tonya Trantham has been very clever indeed and used the Folio Die to make a landscape format journal! I don’t know about you, but this sparks plenty of ideas in my head. I just think this is a fabulous idea and Tonya has executed it in her signature shabby chic style. This project will have a multi part tutorial so check out the first part on her blog now.
Eileen’s dies are perfect for dressing up gifts! Julia Aston shares a tutorial for her lovely gift tags made using the new Waterfall & Tags Die Set. Wouldn’t these be great for Mother’s Day presents? Find all the details and more photos in Julia’s blog post.
