Eileen Hull dies and Gel Press are a match made in heaven! The Gel Press collaboration has been going on all month and the projects have been truly inspiring! You can find the past blog posts here, here and here. Also check out the Gel Press YouTube channel to see what cool stuff they are doing with Eileen’s journal bases and to find scores of tutorial videos. Gel Press printing is a whole lotta fun! Add in Eileen’s versatile dies and a whole new world of creativity opens up. This is the last week for our official collaboration but I think our love affair with gel printing will continue on.
This week the Educator Team is up to bat! Jennie Atkinson is tantalizing us with a few sneak peeks of collaboration projects made using Eileen’s new Chapter 1 dies about to be released on Feb. 1st. So tempting! I can’t wait to see the whole projects – they look wonderful.
Sarah Lizzie created a beautiful Full Size Journal with gel printed covers. I love those soft colors! Wouldn’t this make a lovely gift? Sarah Lizzie has a video with all the details on her YouTube channel. Visit her blog post for more info and a link to video.

Getting busy with her Gel Press plate, Madeline Arendt experimented with printing on fabric. I think she was very successful, just look at the beautiful results! She covered board of her journal covers with fabric and batting to give them a softer look. Be sure to pay her blog a visit to find out all the details.
Sue Eldred also had fun experimenting with creating backgrounds with her Gel Press. She tried using die cuts as masks and had great success with this technique. There really is no end to the creative results you can achieve with gel printing! In her blog post you can see her process and the great projects she made from her prints (like this Tiny Book):
Gel Press Creative Team shares:
Eileen sent blank journal kits to the Gel Press Creative Team members and we’re excited to see what they do. Marjoline Walker made a bold traveler’s journal from Eileen’s Full Size Journal cuts and her video is posted on the Gel Press YouTube Channel. Do you need to get organized? Carolyn Dube created an art caddy organizer from an older Eileen cube die (try the available Gift Box Die). Genius way to organize supplies! Don’t miss these informative videos!
We hope that you will play along with us this month too. Share your creations with us in the Eileen Hull Fan Club on Facebook and other social media channels. Tag your projects with #gelpressobsessed so we can find them. We are going to have so much fun!
