The paint is flying and the Gel Press love is flowing! Eileen Hull and the Teams are busily engaged in a collaboration with Gel Press this month to see what magic can be made when both products are combined. Make sure to check in at the blog at each week to see what comes of our Gel Press journeys. Also check out the Gel Press YouTube channel to see what they are doing with Eileen’s journal bases. Gel Press printing is a whole lotta fun – add in Eileen’s versatile dies and a whole new world of creativity opens up!
Julia Aston created a beautiful Full Size Journal covered with gel prints. You might be surprised to know that she used Distress Oxide Inks on her Gel Press plates instead of paint (and it works beautifully!) It’s a soft and subtle look. Visit her blog to find out all the details and see how she did it.
Designer Lisa Hoel also created a Full Size Journal but the paint was definitely flying during her printing sessions. Her printed and collaged journal is an organizer for the Village Collection Die Set (loooots of little pieces to keep track of). How handy that the Full Size Journal Die perfectly fits accessories made for standard A5 journals. Check it all out on Lisa’s blog!
Crafting a plethora of inspirational projects, Susie Bentz incorporated Eileen’s Maker Forte stamps into her printing process. They are so lovely! Her blog post is full of tips, tricks and photos so don’t miss all that Susie has to share.
More Gel Press love ahead! Keep on reading…
Maggi Harding’s bold and colorful journal covers are a treat to see. She experimented with paint mixing on her Gel Press Plate and got some very interesting results! Her journals have a high ‘wow’ factor to be sure. Her post covers all the how-to so you can try this technique for yourself.
Have you heard that Eileen Hull has new Chapter 1 dies being released in February? Pam Bray is teasing us with a peek at a Phone Stand project she has made for it. I see some lovely Gel Press print action going on there. See more on Pam’s blog and the full tutorial will appear next month.
Gel Press Design Team share:
Ana Bondu of the Gel Press design team has a new Collaboration video posted on the Gel Press YouTube Channel. Eileen sent blank journal kits to their team members and we’re excited to see what they do. Go watch Ana’s video and be inspired!
