Did you catch Eileen Hull’s new Chapter 1 Sizzix Dies live Release Party at the beginning of the month? We also had a Blog Hop with the Teams and there was certainly a ton of inspiration there with the new die projects. For the rest of the month the designers have been sharing the tutorials for their creations so you can get all the how-to!
First, in case you missed it, the lineup of new dies:
Here is what Eileen has to say about them:
“I am so excited to share my Chapter 1 release with you! The dies in this collection are versatile, practical and fun to embellish. The Phone Stand, an XL ScoreBoards die, is a MUST – you need one for every room! Make for yourself, family, friends, for gifts or to sell – the die cuts the stand in one pass and is very easy to assemble.
The Book Box can be used to make a book or a box that holds A-2 greeting cards. What a great way to package handmade cards … or a quick and easy book! Add the Vintage Buttons folder to create vintage backgrounds for cards, journals, pages and tags. The 3D effect is stunning when you add a little Luster Wax to bring out the highlights…
The Snail Mail Thinlits die cuts a postal pane that coordinates with two of Eileen’s Snail Mail Maker Forte stamps. This die was designed to use on the front of an A-2 card! The dies may be found in local scrapbook stores and Eileen’s Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/EileenHull
Thanks to my teams for their gorgeous samples and support!”
Lots of new Chapter 1 dies inspiration ahead…
Pam Bray is sharing a striking Phone Stand that she embellished using some of Eileen’s beautiful Maker Forte stamps. It is so lovely and useful! These phone stands really are something and so great to have all over your house lol. Check out Pam’s blog post to see all the details.
Designer Maggi Harding also created a fabulous pair of Phone Stands. You can really see how Eileen’s dies are perfect for adding your own flair and style. Maggi’s stands have a more mixed media theme. Find a closer look at these two beauties on Maggi’s blog.
Challenge accepted! Eileen challenged Jenny Marples with the task of turning the Book Box Die into a bound journal. Of course Jenny created an absolutely fabulous junk journal and you will not want to miss all the detail photos and her excellent tutorial on how to create and bind it.
Keep going, more inspiration ahead!
Lisa Hoel also used the Book Box Die to create a holder for matching cards. The top of the box is embellished with a Vintage Buttons embossed panel and the card fronts were cut out from gel prints with the Snail Mail die. Find out all the details and see more photos in her post!
Tonya Trantham created a phone stand with a twist! She used the Phone Stand Die and the Vintage Truck Box Die to create the pocket. What? You will just have to read Tonya’s tutorial to find out her clever die hack. Take a look!
Stylishly executed, Elizabeth Robinson’s lovely phone stand helps her keep track of her phone. (It’s good to have a designated phone spot.) I love the butterflies, vintage look and sentiment. (I guess that means pretty much everything about it!) See more over at Elizabeth’s blog.
