Have you been enjoying our March theme this month? The designers are using fibers, fabric and felt in their creations as accents as well as major parts in their constructions. Eileen’s dies (steel rule and Thinlits) cut easily through fabric and felt so the crafty possibilities are endless. Let’s take a look at this week’s inspiration!
Easter is coming and Sarah Lizzie is ready! Just look at this super cute Easter treat box she made using the Book Box Die. This would be so much fun to make to give to a child. The egg shaker dome on the cover and fabric ribbon on the spine are just perfect. Head on over to Sarah Lizzie’s blog post to find the tutorial and make one of your own!
Madeline Arendt went all out and used fabric, fibers and felt in her journal creation. It really is fabulous! She also used the Book Box Die but left out the box parts to make it a full fledged journal. The spring colors and inventive use of materials are top notch. Pay Madeline’s blog a visit to see how she made it.
Designer Sharon Curtis used Eileen’s classic Wrapped Journal Die to create this felt beauty. The colors of the felt and bold design really make a visual impact. I bet it feels cozy to hold as well. Sharon shares how to construct it in her blog post so don’t miss the tutorial.
Tune in next week for the final fibers, fabric, and felt creations!
