This month we’ve been looking at ways of saving travel memories. Eileen Hull’s dies and stamps are perfect for documenting your vacations and travels! Her various journal dies are great for making little albums for a start. Of course, you can go beyond albums and make home decor pieces too and Eileen’s dies are also well suited for that. Let’s see what the designers have for us this week and wrap up the month!
Let’s kick off with a fabulous fishy (in a very good way) Folio journal created by Jenny Marples! The WOW factor is strong with this make! Apparently fellow teamie Elizabeth Robinson has a collection of gorgeous digital paper kits for sale and Jenny used one called ‘A Little Fishy‘ for her journal. You MUST visit Jenny’s blog to see allllllll the inside photos. Prepare to be amazed.
Designer Madeline Arendt created a useful little travel journal to keep in the car. You can keep track of travel info, receipts etc. in a stylish way. Madeline used the Pocket Notebook Die to make it fit perfectly in the glove box but any of Eileen’s journal dies can easily used to make your own road trip journal. Love it! The map on the cover is perfect. See all the details on Madeline’s blog.
For added inspiration, here are some throw-back saving travel memories projects:
Last summer, Lisa Hoel created two tag journals to document her family’s camping trips. She housed each journal in holders made using Eileen’s Camper and Truck Dies. What a fun idea! Pay her blog a visit to see inside the journals and for the tutorials.
Jennie Atkinson also has a fun project to share from last summer. She used Eileen’s Treasure Box Die and created a vintage feeling shadow box to commemorate her childhood visits to the seaside. There are so many wonderful details included! You can get a closer look in her blog post.
Sizzix Chapter 3 release next week!
Stay tuned, next Tuesday, Aug. 2nd, we will be having a live Release Party and all the trimmings. Wait until you see Eileen’s new dies in action!
