In January we shared our projects for Eileen Hull’s Sizzix Classics Die Release. You will be pleased to hear that we are continuing to use these fabulous dies for our February “A Stitch in Time” theme! The team will be sharing their projects which may include slow stitching and machine stitching but also based around the sewing/stitching theme. We love it when you create along with us, so get out those dies and ideas and have fun! Please share in the Fan Club what you make.
Pam Bray fully embraced the sewing theme with this beautiful quilted pillow created with Eileen’s dies. Pay her blog a visit to see how she incorporated the Embroidery Hoop and Needle Book Dies (plus others) to make this shabby chic home decor piece.
Designer Sarah Lizzie also used the Embroidery Hoop Die as a base for this bright and cheerful Valentine project packed with felt flowers. On her blog, Sarah Lizzie shows how she used another classic flower die of Eileen’s to create these rolled blooms. It’s a great die hack!
Susie Bentz used the Needle Book Die to create a signature for a junk journal she’s working on. What a great idea! I love the little details she’s included. I hope we get to see the finished journal! Find all the details on Susie’s blog.
Join us next week for more “A Stitch in Time” projects!
