Here we are at the end of February! It has definitely been a month full of inspiration. In January Eileen Hull had her Sizzix Classics Die Release and the designers continued creating more “A Stitch in Time” sewing themed projects for February. The team shared their projects which included slow stitching and machine stitching but were also based around the sewing/stitching theme.
Sue Eldred created a sleek and chic jewelry box using the Cantilever Sewing Box Die. Such a great idea! This is a great gift idea (include some jewelry too!) Find more details in Sue’s blog post.
Designer Sarah Lizzie made a beautiful floral spring card incorporating the Embroidery Hoop Die. Who wouldn’t love to receive such a cheerful card? Great job Sarah Lizzie! See more on her blog.
Sharing another Embroidery Hoop Die project is Jenny Marples. Check out this lovely “no sew” make! Jenny promises it is easy to accomplish and she shows you how in her blog post. It’s perfect for using your stash of notions and felt. Love it Jenny!
Bonus projects to share with you:
Tonya Trantham shared this lovely Valentine’s Day themed junk journal. You will not want to miss all the photos of the inside pages on her blog. She used several of Eileen’s various Sizzix Thinlits Die Sets to create all the elements. Check it out here!
Jenny Marples made this wonderful mini mixed media journal using the Needle Book Die and lots of PaperArtsy products. Jenny incorporates so many fun textures inside the journal (including stitching!) Don’t miss checking out all the details in this blog post.
