Last month we shared our projects for Eileen Hull’s Sizzix Classics Die Release. We are continuing to find inspiration by using these dies plus others for our February “A Stitch in Time” with sewing themes! The team will be sharing their projects which may include slow stitching and machine stitching but also based around the sewing/stitching theme. We love it when you create along with us, so get out those dies and ideas and have fun! Please share in the Fan Club what you make.
Elizabeth Robinson used the Cantilever Sewing Box Die to create a project that is beautiful and practical! It perfectly holds spools and bobbins of thread (love it!) She is going to keep it next to her sewing machine to organize her commonly used thread colors. Find all the details here.
Lisa Hoel is sharing a closer look at an embroidered Needle Book she made for the die release. There are lots of stitched details! She also used some mixed media stamps she made during our Collage Fodder challenge from last June. See all the details and more photos in her blog post.
Designer Tonya Trantham used the new Embroidery Hoop and Envelope, Folder & Flowers Die Sets to craft a darling shaker card perfect to give to a loved one. Love it and the pom-pom trim is signature Tonya! What a fun interactive card. Visit her blog post for the details.
Find more inspiration next week with additional “A Stitch in Time” sewing theme projects!
