“What’s in the Box?” has been our theme for August. All month we’ve focused on the versatile Treasure Box Die and the Inspiration Team has really knocked it out of the park! We’re wrapping it up this week with a final round of projects.
Lisa Hoel made a box to hold some of her vintage button hoard. I think you’ll agree this is better than having them get dusty in an open bowl on the shelf! She also used Eileen’s 3-D Vintage Buttons Embossing Folder to perfectly decorate the Treasure Box. Find the details in her post.
Check out this clever idea from Sue Eldred! She used the Treasure Box Die to create a “tackle” gift box for your favorite fisherman. I love it! Visit her post to see how she altered the die cut structure to make it look more like a real tackle box.
Cool technique alert! Jenny Marples is sharing a flash back Treasure Box project featuring a faux pitted enamel finish. Fabulous! Find out how to create this look in Jenny’s tutorial. You’ll want to add it to your box of tricks.
Bonus project…
Pam Bray has an extra project to share with us this week too. She used the Notebook Die to create this lovely little junk journal. The inside is just as nice as the outside so don’t miss all the details on Pam’s blog.
Come back next week for a new September theme!
