… and a #eileentailgateparty wrap up! (More on that later.) In the meantime, happy Thanksgiving to our US readers and even if you aren’t here in the States, any day is a good day to count your blessings. We are continuing our look at holiday time projects made with ever versatile Eileen Hull Sizzix dies and products! Let’s see what the designers have for us this week:
Sarah Lizzie used Eileen’s Display Stand Die combined with the Post Box Die to create this darling “Letters for Santa” decoration. What would you ask Santa for for Christmas? (more Eileen dies LOL). Check out Sarah Lizzie’s blog post for the tutorial!
Designer Jenny Atkinson created a lovely fall journal for documenting the season using the Pocket Notebook Die. Find plenty of photos and a video tutorial over on her blog.
Putting the 3-D Sweater Embossing Folder to good use, Elizabeth Robinson created this fabulous Notepad holder. Doesn’t it look like a ‘real sweater’? Wow! She used prints made with the Gel Press as her backgrounds to emboss. Find the links to her video tutorials in her blog post!
Madeline Arendt has a whole slew of Christmas projects in her blog post! She has ideas for both decorating and gift giving so head on over and peruse the inspiration. (and there is a new garland! 😉 )
If warm and cozy is your thing, then Sue Eldred has you covered! She also used the 3-D Sweater Embossing Folder to make a homespun Christmas card sure to bring a smile to the face of its recipient. See her post for more details.
Now for the Tailgate Party wrap up!
Last week, Eileen teamed up with nine guests from Sizzix and independent craft store owners to create special projects made using her Vintage Truck Die. It was loads of fun! Here is what Eileen had to say about it:
Wow – wasn’t that Tailgate party fun? And impressive? The creativity was flowing for sure. I hope that you were inspired to craft along with us. If you missed it, here’s the replay link.
There was also a giveaway you could enter by sharing your own vintage truck makes! There were so many great projects and creative ideas! Sizzix picked two lucky winners, Angie Self and Denise Evans. Congrats to the winners! Below is a slideshow of the entries:
