This month is all about greeting card inspiration! Give them, mail them, hoard them – it is fun to create handmade works of art. Let’s see what the Inspiration Team has for us to check out this week!
Jennie Atkinson created a lovely trio of cards using scraps from a favorite pad of patterned paper. She also utilized the Card Caddy Die to cut the cards so they have a fancy edge. Eileen’s dimensional dies can do 2-D too! Find all the details in Jennie’s blog post.
Designer Maggi Harding is a queen of layering and the intricate cards she made for the month are fabulous! She used the Skinny Mini Elements Die to good effect. Seeing the patterned paper peeking through is a treat. See all the steps and the second, masculine themed card she made in her blog post.
Educator Team member Sue Eldred used the Skinny Mini Elements Die in a completely different and equally stunning way. Check out the bold design of her fall floral stained glass card! Find out her techniques on her blog.
Susie Bentz made a delightful set of CAS cards and a Card Caddy holder for them. The little houses are from Eileen’s Shadowbox Elements Die Set (so cute!) A set like this would make a great gift! See the rest of the cards and details on Susie’s blog.
