It starts TODAY- please join me on the Paper Trail 7, a two month teaching tour throughout the country! I am hitching up my vintage camper Scotty, visiting the stores below and teaching classes using my Sizzix dies and Clearsnap inks, as well as products from select sponsor manufacturers. If you live anywhere near these stores, please call and
sign up for class. I would love to meet you! [Read more…]
Paper Trail #4!
The Paper Trail 4 has officially begun- it started off with a bang two weekends ago!
In June 2014, Angela’s Happy Stamper moved to a new location which is about ONE MILE from my house! Somehow I find myself having to stop by for various reasons to hang out and see what’s going on. There is usually a class, Learn at Lunch or people chatting about what they are up to. If you are in Northern Virginia you should come and check it out here:
208 Elden Street, Suite 203 * Herndon, Virginia 20170
(703) 657-2952
The class I taught was a Sneak Peek of the Passport Book coming out in April. We had a full house including some folks who had never operated a die cut machine before. I love that- there is always the moment when they see how cool it is when a die comes out perfectly cut or embossed. I never tire of experiencing this through them. The book we made was a Metal-Covered Technique Book and each person who made one had a different take on the one seen below. They were beautiful! We forgot to get a pic of them all though…
We also took a minute to remember our friend Dyan Reavely who has not seen the new store yet and did a video for her.
Here are the rest of the stops along the way!
The first stop on the trip is the Great American Stamp Store on Wednesday, April 8. Rumor has it that a certain local crafty celebrity might be making an appearance…

We will die cut a Sizzix Recipe Card Box and several coordinating 3″ x 4″ Recipe Cards and doodle them up! Bring your favorite markers and pens to play with and bring home a finished box and cards. A perfect fit for wallet photos, gift cards, tags and small artwork treasures…
Next on the agenda is a stop at a store I haven’t seen yet… but can’t wait to! I saw a post on Instagram and took a chance to see if they might want me to come teach. If you are in the area, please don’t be shy! Sign up for a class! Click below and see the schedule and details…

And then I am on to the Collins Group Rep Show! This show is open to reps and store owners who take classes on running their business, workshops using the latest and greatest products and attend networking events. I went last year- it was my first trip in Scotty and it rained for 4 days straight (and leaked all over the place in the camper) then snowed the day I left! Still it was great to meet so many store owners and have a chance to sit down and talk to them without the hustle and bustle of CHA. I will be teaching two classes and doing a Make and Take from my new Vintage Travel line.

I get back home for a few days and then I am headed out (in a plane- not Scotty) for Utah and the SNAP! Conference. This will be my second time going- I would have gone last year but my daughter had the nerve to get married that weekend… 🙂 I love all of the event and classes they have that allow you to meet and chat with like minded people. So that’s my schedule for the spring. I wanted to add others but was not sure if Scotty would be back in time. Thanks to K & T RV Repair Scotty has gotten his life back. Still work to be done but the camper is looking fantastic! I will make a video soon so you can see the before and after.
This will be a quick trip but action packed 🙂 I am meeting up with my friend Cheryl Boglioli. She rode along with me for the Florida leg of the Papertrail 3 and next thing I know she had a camper of her own. See how much fun we had? Cheryl has done an amazing job of restoring her camper, Glinda. To see what she has done, visit Cheryl’s blog here.
I am just in from a long drive to Ohio so will say good night and to ask you to follow me on the Paper Trail 4 (see my social media icons at top of page). Now to sleep… See you on the Trail…

Day 3 and 4- Paper Trail 3
The time has flown by since I left Virginia- it’s already been a week!
After two days of driving, I picked up my designer friend Cheryl Boglioli and we set off for Everything Scrapbooks and Stamps, a Crafter’s Home store… Although it was pouring rain when we got there, we waited about 20 minutes and it cleared up. However Scotty took on some water and will have to get looked at…
I would like to thank Michelle McCosh, the store owner, for showing us such a great time.
We were greeted with a gift basket filled with treats, drinks and Florida oranges (the Milano cookies lasted about one day- it was so hot we had to eat them before they melted!) The best part though was the adorable tag that was tied on the basket…
Here’s the account of the weekend as told by Cassia Holanda– she posted so many great photos and captions on Facebook, I just had to share- she cracked me up! She was the organizer of when and where we would pose for pictures and kept us entertained with stories of how she dressed up her dog, Tux-zito! That’s Cassia in the middle with friends, Cindy and Charo on either side. I was excited to meet someone named Charo! These girls are amazing artists and I learned a lot while I was there…
Michelle McCosh and Nancy from ESS were the first hostesses of this trail of imagination! This was the Paper Trail first stop of a loooong USA trip! Sorry ladies , but we played with brand new creations that will only be out in NOVEMBER! But you can already order yours! :))
The ice on our cake was to be able to” visit” Eileen’s adorable camper which will be taking her and the dies, of course, across the USA!
We also had the wonderful Cheryl Boglioli as the Paper Trail Copilot!
This was an awesome weekend! Maybe one day the Paper Camper Trail will make a U Turn somewhere! and visit us again! — at Everything Scrapbook & Stamps.
OH MY!!! Who wants that most ADORABLE t-shirt ever??? We all do!!! How about an apron or a cool tote to carry our Paper Trail dies , Eileen Hull?
Michelle McCosh, do you think Charo Muñoz was trying to teach Eileen Hull to dance? the dance of the 7 ribbons???
Frances B. Lainhart our Mother Queen of Creativity and Happiness at Eileen Hull ‘s Paper trail Camper
Fun with Oly*fun… love this ladybug effect!
Eileen Hull ‘s Paper trail Camper Stove….my type of oven! Paper storage! LOL
More Oly*fun going on the Sizzix Recipe Card Box. Have you heard the good news? They will be shipping in November instead of December! Now you can get the Vintage Kitchen dies in time to use them for holiday packaging and gifts!
Robert gave me a tip about the leaking in the camper and possible solution.
Great to see designer friend Susan Brown at class too!
Many MANY thanks to Cheryl Boglioli- I could not have done this class without her help… I owe her big-time!
OK, that’s all for now- more coming soon! Thanks for following the Paper Trail 🙂
#PaperTrail Day 19
Since I was staying in the Hampton Inn and there was a magnificent breakfast to be had, I went for it! Good way to start the day…
I packed up, checked out and was on my way to The Doodlebug where I was to teach the Memories Mini. This is a mini-album made with just one section of the Sizzix Shopping Bag die.
I think they all came out really great- everyone added their own special touches to make them fit the person they were giving their book to.
Meanwhile the entries for the big giveaway were growing… I could hardly take the suspense!
Then it was time for another demo- I showed everyone how to use Craft Attitude. This is a product that I like to use because it gives the illusion that you printed directly on matboard . This isn’t really possible because it’s too thick to go through the rollers. Craft Attitude is a film- you print your image on an inkjet printer, cut it out and adhere to the matboard and then peel off the release paper- very simple and easy! I made an Artist Trading Block using pics and text from my visit to the Doodlebug. I left it there so they remember me 🙂
After the demo, I started packing up to get down to Mary’s Scrapden to teach the Chunky Book at 6. I got in the truck to pull up closer to the store to load up and heard someone yelling, “Eileen Hull- don’t leave!!!” I got out and turns out they were some ladies that had come all the way from St. Louis to see me and say hi 🙂 I felt very special. Turns out they have a scrapbook store called For Keeps Sake there so maybe I will see them on my next #Papertrail journey!
After a nice visit with my new friends, I drove on down to Mary’s Scrapden and was very excited to see my friends Ken and Linda Oliver signed up for class!
We had a nice relaxed time and partway through class, my friend Kim arrived from Tulsa, OK- she drove 550 miles! Crazy girl!
I have known Kim for almost 20 years- we were stationed together at Ft. Drum, NY with little kids and got to be good friends and crafting buddies.
We made quite the mess but isn’t that what creating is all about?
Kim and I checked into another Hampton Inn (two nights in a row I lived in luxury!). We got ready for bed, and we were talking and catching up on our families and next thing I knew it was morning! Time for a new day…
