Seasons’ Greetings Creations with the Inspiration Team

It’s time for holiday crafting! All this month Eileen Hull’s Teams are getting festive and in the swing of the seasons. There is a decided nip in the air now though and a shift towards the winter and Christmas makes! Let’s see what Seasons’ Greetings the Inspiration Team has in store for us this week…

Anna-Karin has a fun and fabulous mixed-media snowman card to share with us. Wait until you see how she made the vellum ‘snow’ background! You will not want to miss the technique on her blog post. She topped the background with a snowy Snowman Die cutout decked out with all the wonderful details.

Merry Mittens are the theme for Elizabeth Robinson’s makes. She is batch making Mitten Christmas cards (commendable!) and also shares how to make a cute mitten bookmark. (Great idea for a companion gift to go with a new book!) It has a great shabby chic look with a little touch of bling. Check out her blog post for all the details!

We are getting well into the holiday season now. Here in the USA Thanksgiving is in about two weeks! All this month on the blog, Eileen Hull’s Teams are crafting hard to bring Seasons’ Greetings inspiration to you! Last week we kicked it off with some festive makes from the Inspiration Team and it continues on with this week’s projects. Let’s take a look…

Time to get crafty!

Julia Aston created a beautiful stand to hold photos of holiday memories using Eileen’s Display Stand Die. The festive patterned paper and darling little trees and deer really make this project special. See Julia’s blog post for all the details and instructions!

Designer Mitsyana Wright used Eileen’s new Teacup Die to create this absolutely adorable Christmas card. Just because a die is a Scoreboards die, you don’t have to use it only to make 3-D projects. As Mitsyana shows us, you can use them to cut patterned paper and use the elements on things like cards! See all the details in her blog post.

Stitching up some Christmas cuteness is Susie Bentz! She was inspired to turn a card design she previously made into felt Christmas Snowman Mitten ornaments. Is it really the end of July? We’ve been keeping cool all month with lots of fantastic makes using Eileen Hull’s newest Sizzix dies, the Snowman and Mitten Box. Today we’re going to wrap it up with an epic Christmas in July post full of festive projects!

Get comfy and grab a beverage…

because there are so many to share! First up we have Elizabeth Robinson’s clever creation using the Snowman Die – she used it to make a holder for her glasses! I love it! It’s a great landing spot for things that get easily mislaid. You could use something like this for your phone or car keys too. Elizabeth shares the details of her Snowman Die hack on her blog.

Designer Jenny Marples has been finding inspiration in Eileen’s new dies all month long! She has multiple projects to share. First there are these fabulous Christmas cards made using nifty mixed media techniques (see her tutorial!) and the Mitten Box Die:

Jenny also just posted this brand new project – a Snowman accordion book. She used gel plate prints to good effect for the inner pages. Check out her tutorial for all her tricks and tips! I love all the textures and colors she achieved in this darling little book.

Last but not least Julia Aston has a cute cork fabric journal to share with us. In June we had a collaboration with Belagio to use their awesome cork fabric (check out the weekly June posts to see if you missed it). Julia used it to make a little snowman journal. Jennie Atkinson used the Mitten die to create these gorgeous and frilly mitten ornaments. They have all the vintage feels with bits of lace, buttons and Victorian vibes. The tutorial on her blog shows many detail photos and all the steps on how to create these beauties yourselves.

If you are a die hard holiday card maker (start now!) you will not want to miss this fabulous example from Kathy Clement. Using a Christmas paper collection from Authentique and the Mittens as a focal point, I think you will agree this card is a stunner that any loved one would be excited to receive and display! Summertime Christmas Inspiration with Eileen Hull’s New Dies

Summertime Christmas inspiration continues here on Eileen Hull’s blog! In case you missed it, on July 1st Sizzix released two new dies designed by Eileen, the Snowman and Mitten Box Dies. We had a big party and a blog hop full of fabulous creations. Each week has showcased more new projects made with the dies and this week is no exception!

The Inspiration Team has been busy…

Pam Bray made a whole coordinated set of projects using the new dies. Last week we saw the frosty mitten gift card box and now she’s sharing the matching Tiny Book and Tiny Book Case set. They are so cute! There are lots of detail photos on Pam’s blog so don’t miss that.

Christmas in July Continues!

Hello Eileen Hull fans! Did you miss last week’s new die release party and blog hop? If so, be sure to go back and feast your eyes on all the festive makes! Christmas in July continues this week and we have more cool Yuletide projects for your inspiration. The Inspiration Team is definitely inspired by Eileen’s new Snowman and Mitten Box Dies.
